Citizens of the New Order,

Tragic news from Tatooine and more specifically a twist in the tale of the Tax Fraud case of a Twi'lek businesswoman from Mos Entha.

The case surrounding the alleged tax fraudster, Miss Liakhara Tir'ein, has taken a number of dramatic twists. You may remember that Tir'ein, a 21 year old businesswoman living in Mos Entha on Tatooine, was accused of large scale tax evasion and fraudulent dealings concerning her business interest in the area - including the Mos Entha Hotel and the Outer Rim Trader's Union. Following calls for her to give herself up into Imperial custody, a Bounty was issued on Tir'ein for 25,000 Imperial credits after she failed to meet the deadline. The New Order Tax and Business Authority spokesperson said at the time that "the bounty is aiming to drive Tir'ein out of hiding and allow us to further our investigations into the allegations, which have affected the livelihood of countless citizens throughout the Imperial Outlands".

Late on Monday night, Tir'ein was brought into Imperial custody, alive by a local Bounty Hunter in the Mos Entha region - +++ NAME REMOVED FOR SAFETY PURPOSES +++. She was due to be processed and informed of the charges, as well as make calls to those who could assist her in the justice process, when tragedy struck - Rebel terrorists attacked.

In a desparate attempt to get to the captive Twi'lek, a large force of savage, bloodthirsty and crazed attackers laid siege to the small Mos Entha Garrison posted at the time. The terrorists were believed to have been motivated by some twisted idea of revenge against Tir'ein for her commercial dealings which had allegedly caused a number of unemployments. The terrorists managed to break through the outer defences and get to Tir'ein, where they savagely executed her, for "crimes" she had never been found guilty of. This shocking display of mob justice has been universally condemned by Sentient Right's groups throughout the galaxy and called "a travesty against civilisation" by the New Order.

In a further twist, the terrorist stole away the body of Tir'ein as some sick trophy for their cause. Many victims of the brutal assault are confused as to whether Tir'ein was alive or dead at the time of the kidnapping. The 336th Armoured Infantry, Sentinel Company, Commanding Officer Lieutenant Onoxa, is convinced of the latter: "Definately dead, the most long serving of my troopers - TK-114 - saw her get shot and said there was no way she could have survived". However, the New Order Tax and Business Authority - in an effort to make amends for this most upsetting of incidents, has offered a further 10,000 credit reward for information as to the whereabouts of the body of Tir'ein - saying they just want to "put her family and friends at ease".

In response to this bold move by terrorists in the region, Lieutenant Onoxa has once again stated that he has every confidence in Sentinel Company being able to maintain order on Tatooine in the long term: "I've had a long term talk with central command in Bestine, and the security of the 336th base is being significantly improved. We will also be taking more severe steps to track down these terrorist - once again, the small minority has ruined it for the wider populace. But, until these scum are caught, there will be a more harsh line taken by Sentinel in dealing with those who break the law."

For the glory of the New Order, this has been an Imperial News Bureau announcement.

Long live the Emperor!
