Loyal citizens of the New Order.
Today is a sad day for the Emperor and his subjects.
Today is a day of mourning.
Once again, vicious Rebel traitors have struck a tragic
and petty blow for their misguided cause. Earlier today the body of Imperial
Sergeant Tobias Sledi was discovered in Kor Vella, Corellia. Sergeant Sledi was a decorated and long serving officer who had been
with the New Order since its very beginnings.
Sergeant Sledi was a trusting
man, a loyal servant of the Empire and someone who played as hard as he worked.
He was on leave in the quaint Corellian town after a distinguished campaign of
service in various Stormtrooper detachments. He received a promotion to
Sergeant and was due to begin new duties in a few days.
Sergeant Sledi was decorated
for valiant service, receiving the Emperor's Cross for Bravery during the Clone
Wars, one of the highest awards an Imperial Army trooper can receive.
His commanding officer, Lieutenant Pincer, is said to be
shocked and grieved by the murder of his trusted aid. He has contacted Sergeant
Sledi's grieving widow and children to offer his
comfort to them at this tragic time.
Sergeant Sledi's body was found
with a multitude of stab wounds to the back, he had been beaten and robbed of
his clothes and papers. It is believed that the attack was carried out by Rebel
Terrorists trying to gain the latest command codes and intelligence. It is not
known how they plan to use whatever information they may have gained from
Sergeant Sledi before they brutally murdered him.

In response to this latest outrage, the New Order has
issued a 25,000 Imperial Credit reward for information leading to the capture
of the Rebel. It has also reissued all command codes and authorisation
papers for the area.
Reports that Sergeant Sledi
attended the planned Rebel Execution of Aaricia Silverstar in Mos Entha
recently and escorted the prisoner to an undisclosed location have been
dismissed as "unfounded rumour". But one
thing is clear - the New Order is continuing to investigate the orders
surrounding the cancelled execution - putting down the increasing confusion to
"crossed lines of communication and nothing more".
Any citizen who has any information on the tragedy should
contact their local Imperial command centre to give a statement.
Our thoughts go out to the family of Tobias Sledi at this difficult time and the New Order assures them
that the perpetrators will be found and punished to the full extent of the law.
