***9 May 2005 – Lyzzie

Threatening was enough to make the girl talk.

“TK-222, take the girl back to her cell.”, HK-619 ordered.

The trooper released the girl from the chair and took her out of the interrogation room. She sighed in relief. The girl wasn’t hurt. After she activated the forcefield she stared at Lyzzie.

“Lyzzie.”, she stammered from behind her helmet, “Just tell them the truth. It will be ok.”

“Who are you?”, the girl asked with a trembling voice.

“TK-222.”

She heard footsteps approaching and turned. There HK-619 stared at her from his black lenses.

“TK-222.. did I give you permission to talk with the prisoner?”, he asked with a filtered voice.

“No sir.”, TK-222 answered as confident as possible.

The trooper nodded at her.

“Take the girl to the visitor’s room.”
”Yes sir.”

She re-inactivated the forcefield.

“Move it, prisoner. To the left.”

Then she saw the doctor, Vernant. She gasped. It was Lyzzie’s father..

They sat down in the visitor’s room. TK-222 got an order to get dr. Roseward and after she had brought the other doctor with the others she listened to what they said.

Lyzzie seemed to be lucky.. this time. A deal could be made. Well at least HK-619 mentioned it, but immediately after these words TK-222 was ordered to take Lyzzie to the roof to let her make a walk. They moved up the elevator, then up the stairs.

On the roof she stared at the suns, not that bright from behind the black lenses. Lyzzie blinked.

“You can take a walk now, prisoner.”, she said.

Camera’s were in the corners, following each move of them. Would TK-222 ever get the chance to talk with the girl.. what would happen to her? Would she be released, or put back in prison? She stared in one of the corners and followed the prisoner into one of them.

“Come here Lyzzie.”, she said quiet.

The camera’s couldn’t record what happened in the corners, and if they would stay quiet.

“And keep quiet girl.”

Then she removed her helmet.

“Wh.. who are you?”, Lyzzie stammered, with big scared eyes.

“You seem to know about my past. I want to know more..”, Jane said to her with a soft voice, “I.. I guess that you knew Sabine Lanark?”

Lyzzie nodded.

“That was me.”

The droid-girl gasped at her. Then Jane realized that quite some time had passed.. she heard the commlink bleeping again.

“TK-222, I told you to bring the prisoner down.. now!”

She muttered and quickly put up her helmet again.

“We will talk again.”, she said to the girl, “Let’s move prisoner! You know the way!”

When she had taken Lyzzie to her destination the teenage girl got released, together with her father she jumped on a speeder and then they left. HK-619 turned towards her.

“TK-222, I’m not supposed to give you the same order twice. This time I see it through my fingers.. but don’t let it happen again!”

“No sir!”, she stammered a bit.

“Dismissed, private.”

They saluted and with a sigh of relief TK-222 walked back towards the barracks.

Maybe Lyzzie was a rebel. HK-619 had called her this during the interrogation. A traitor, because Lyzzie really had sent the video recordings about the stun incident in the medcentre to that reporter. Why was she released, Jane wondered. After taking another sleeping pill she brushed her teeth and went to bed. At least Lyzzie wasn’t hurt, like in that nightmare of hers. Another merciful action of the Empire. Jane smiled, but somewhere in herself she also felt scared. If Lyzzie was a rebel.. then now she knew who Jane really was. If the savage rebels would get her now to take their vengeance.. to.. to hurt her very much again, then it was Jane’s own fault. With a sigh she fell asleep.
